Peak Performance Buoyancy

Who Should Take This Course?

Buoyancy is the most important skill in scuba and is one that we can always work to improve. With buoyancy mastered you're able to reduce the effort diving takes, conserving energy and gas. You're also more stable in the water allowing for better photography and buddy communications. You'll see massive improvement in your finning techniques and be able to swim much easier and potentially even remove some weight from your set up!

What will you learn?

Buoyancy control is essential to becoming a confident, relaxed diver. Being perfectly balanced allows you to float effortlessly, use air more efficiently and deftly approach skittish marine life to get a closer look. Over two dives you'll;

  • Achieve neutral buoyancy

  • Hover effortlessly

  • Use the right amount of weight

Also, the first dive of this Specialty Diver course may credit toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor about earning credit.

What Gear Will I use?

You'll use all your standard cold water diving gear! Chat with your instructor for details.
