Join us for a morning cruise & kayak

Grab a kayak and hop on our custom 40ft vessel that will take you and your kayak to a nearby island to explore. Howe Sound is one of the southernmost fjords in North America, and this stunning scenery is right in our backyard! There is a good chance you will see harbour seals, eagles, sea stars, anemones, jellyfish, and much more!

Our vessel is comfortable for all weather, and is equipped with all safety equipment, a marine toilet, an upper open viewing deck, and a covered lower deck in case of rain.

Trip Details

  • There is a chance you might get a little wet so we suggest that you wear something comfortable and light, and dress according to the weather.

  • We suggest bringing a camera, sunglasses, sunblock, and a small towel.  If you don’t have a waterproof camera we have some great waterproof bags with neck-straps for sale at our shop that your phone can keep dry in, and still take photos.

  • You should arrive at Sea Dragon Expedition Centre 30 minutes before your guided tour is scheduled to begin.

  • Please sign your waiver ahead of time to limit social contact. Sea Dragon staff will then escort you to our boat that is docked at Sewell’s Marina.

  • Hot beverages included – coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or soup.

  • Our boat will carry passengers to a nearby Gulf Island.
