Common Questions
Why five open water dives?
Because of our involvement in both tropical and northern diving locations we have seen the need for more open water training at the basic entry level. This additional training will ensure a comfortable and competent diver.
Why boat dives?
Boat dives are a must – as over 90% of diving world-wide is off boats. With 2 boat dives complimentary dives to complete the Sea Dragon open water course you will learn about boat diving techniques and protocol. You will have a greater appreciation for the abundant marine life that you will not experience at the shore training sites and also experience the thrill, freedom and ease of boat diving.
Why include a dry suit certification.
It just makes sense, as you will not continue to dive unless you are comfortable. The dry suit is designed to keep water out and so with a proper under garment and no water you will be warm and comfortable. The dry suit does require some additional training and this can be easily accomplished because we are providing an open water class with 5 open water dives.
You live here – so why not dive here! The immediate dry suit certification will allow you to rent a dry suit at any dive centre.
