Service Description
This is the basic entry level scuba course. No experience is required, and once complete, divers will earn certifications that can be used anywhere in the world! This course can be done in conjunction with our Drysuit course at no extra cost! PADI e-learning fees still apply for Open Water and Drysuit. If you are planning to dive in BC we highly recommend doing your Drysuit certification! Get in contact with us if this is something you're interested in! **PADI Online Learning fees are not included in this price. Please contact shop to buy.** The course has five session which must be completed for certification: Class - Wednesday June 24th (6-10pm) at the shop Pool - Saturday June 27th (4:30-9:30pm) and Sunday June 28th (8am-1pm) Ocean - Saturday July 4th and Sunday July 5th (8am to 4pm) Our pool sessions are done at West Vancouver Rec Centre and the ocean dives are done at Whytecliff Park. What's Included? - All rental gear needed for the course. - All classroom, pool and ocean sessions. - Drysuit certification cost ($299.95 value) - *e-learning not included. Upon successful completion of the course: - 2 PADI certifications: Open Water Diver and Drysuit Specialty (if you choose to do both) - 1 free dive charter on our boat, the Topline! ($149.95 value) - 1 free equipment rental package. ($150 value) - 2 for 1 Snorkel/Kayak Adventure on the Topline. ($169.95 value) - 10% off all store purchases for 3 months post certification!
Cancellation Policy
Individual Bookings: A 48-hour notice is required for a full refund of charter fees. There are no refunds. Charters that are cancelled by Sea Dragon Charters due to unsafe weather or conditions beyond our control will be refunded in full. Trips are not cancelled due to rain. The decision to cancel a trip due to bad weather usually cannot be made until departure time. Only those present at the scheduled departure time will receive refunds. No partial refunds will be made for unused dives. No refunds will be made for seasickness. No refunds are given for courses once the course begins. Transfer fees may apply if rescheduling a course. Group Bookings: A minimum of two weeks' notice is required for any group cancellations, to allow us time to book other clients.
