This past weekend was full with Diving, Snorkeling and Kayaking.
Saturday was with Captain Bob. He had divers on the Annapolis and Halkett Wall. All reported a fantastic day with lots of life and very good visibility. The afternoon was filled with snorkelers & kayakers. They were from all over the lower mainland and other countries. The seas were very calm and clear so the seal sightings were excellent both above, below and from those enjoying the kayaks.
Sunday saw Kevin at the helm. We chose the Pinnacle followed by War Bonnet Wall. As always, both sites were loaded with life. Most of the divers saw the resident wolf eels. The comment was for the outstanding visibility. The afternoon was filled with snorkelers & kayakers, again from all over the map. We had an early Canada celebration with hot dogs barbecued for all on board. A perfect day had by all!
Monday saw a few last minute divers sign up for a Canada Day dive. Their choice was a double dip on the HMCS Annapolis. Of the divers, some were doing a tech, dive with lines and full penetration. Others were diving Howe Sound for the first time with their guide, Gavin. They were already asking about Dragon Packs so they definitely had a great time. I was there for Gavin's hot buttered buns - yummm....yummm!
Hope everyone had a great Canada Day!!!!
